Hello there! Let's begin with a list of items that you will need to make your very own Stele. Remember you can be as creative with all the steps as you want to be!
• Hot glue gun
• Sharp tool like an X-Acto knife or a dotting tool
• Silver paint, other colors and designs you can add later
• Make-up sponge
You are going to need to remove the eraser from your pencil. This should be easy to remove just by pulling it off with your hand but in some cases, you will have to remove it with a pair of pliers.
Apply the hot glue to your pencil by placing the piece of glue into your hot glue gun allowing it to heat it up and melt. Please keep in mind this is going to be very hot. Also, keep in mind that hot glue can get everywhere so make sure to place something like a newspaper or a towel under your pencil.
• Place the glue around the circle where the eraser used to be.
• Wait about 30 seconds and the glue should be cool enough for you to help spread it down with your hand. You want to get an as even amount of glue all the way down the pencil.
• Add more glue as needed until the whole pencil except for the tip is covered.
If you wish you may smooth out the glue, but make sure to do so when it's still warm cold glue is very hard to smooth out. If not, you can keep the rough texture.
Make a base for where the eraser used to be. This part should be bigger than the Stele itself. (If you need some inspiration look up some Stele’s from the series itself.)
Add your design. Most Stele's come with a simple snake design, but a fee comes more elegant as well. If you feel comfortable in trying a more pretty design go for it! Otherwise, stick to the snake.
Add design to your base with your sharpening tool. Carve a circle, if you feel creative enough to go ahead and create your own design.
Add paint!! You can use acrylic paint or nail polish to paint your Steele. Start with the silver and paint that. Feel free to paint your design a different color. Let the paint dry and boom, your own badass Stele!
